We are pleased to announce that Freedom Health has chosen ACS EDI Gateway, Inc. as their EDI clearinghouse for provider medical
claims. ACS EDI will accept the X12N 837 Professional and Institutional transactions beginning in December 2005. Please visit this Web site frequently for more specific implementation dates. Enrolling for electronic claim submission is an easy process.
- Complete the ACS EDI Gateway enrollment form to obtain an ACS Trading Partner ID. Click on the Enrollment link to the left of this page to download the enrollment form.
- Develop HIPAA-compliant 837 transactions. Click on the Companion Guides link to the left for detailed specifications for Freedom Health.
- When you receive your ACS Trading Partner ID, conduct format testing through the EDIFECS Website at
www.hipaadesk.com.
Upon successful testing with EDIFECS, contact ACS EDI Technical Support for one-on-one testing through our clearinghouse.
