We are pleased to announce that TMG Health, Inc. has chosen ACS EDI Gateway, Inc. as their EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) clearinghouse
for their clients' medical bills. ACS EDI will accept the X12N 837 Professional X12N 837 Institutional transactions beginning October 1, 2005 for the following TMG clients:
- Medical Card System (MCS)
- Sentara Health Plan
- Fidelis SecureCare
- Upper Peninsula Health Care
ACS EDI will also begin accepting the 837P and 837I transactions for the following TMG clients beginning in November 2005:
- Advantage
- American Progressive
- BCBS Michigan
- BCBS Tennessee
- Fidelis
- Geisinger
- HealthNet Oregon
- HISC
- Network Health Plan (NHP)
- Pacificare
- Pyramid
- Sun Health
- Unicare
- Wisconsin Partnership (WPP)
- XL Health (Care Improvement Plus)
Electronic submission capability for the above client list is an easy process:
- Complete the ACS EDI Enrollment form to obtain an ACS Trading Partner ID (the form is available by clicking on the Enrollment link to the left);
- Develop HIPAA-compliant 837 transactions (TMG Companion Guides are also available from the CG link at the left);
- Upon receipt of your ACS Trading Partner ID, test format through the EDIFECS Website at
www.hipaadesk.com;
Upon successful testing with EDIFECS, contact ACS EDI Technical Support for one-on-one testing through the clearinghouse.
