The Administrative Simplification provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA, Title II) include
requirements that national standards be established for electronic health care transactions, and national identifiers for providers, health plans, and employers. These standards are being adopted to improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of the nation's health care system by encouraging the widespread use of electronic data interchange in health care. ACS EDI Gateway, Inc. is in the process of moving toward
HIPAA compliancy. We provide functions and services to receive and send ANSI ASC X12N transactions on behalf of our clients. We're committed to ensuring successful HIPAA compliance mandated by the Health Insurance
