1) Question: When should I submit the HIPAA formats?

Answer:  DCH encourages providers/submitters to move to HIPAA formats as soon as possible after April 1, 2003.  As of October 16, 2003, GHP will support only the HIPAA formats.  For more information, please read the Quick Reference Guide for Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids published by GHP on our Manuals page.

2) Question: Who do I contact if I have a question regarding the ACS EDI Gateway Trading Partner Enrollment Packet or need technical assistance concerning electronic submission?

Answer:  You may contact The ACS EDI Support Unit Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, at 1.800.987.6715.

3) Question: Who do I contact if I have questions regarding billing, codes, or to check the status of a claim that I have submitted?

Answer:  Please contact Customer Interactive Center (CIC) at 404-298-1228 (in metro Atlanta) or 800-766-4456 (outside metro Atlanta).

4) Question: Who do I contact to request a visit from an ACS Field Representative?

Please contact CIC at 404.298.1228.  (in metro Atlanta) or 1.800.766.4456 (outside metro Atlanta).

5) Question:  If I am a vendor, clearinghouse, or billing agent, and have questions regarding specifications or testing, who do I contact?

Answer:  For answers to questions regarding specifications/companion guides and testing, please contact our ACS EDI Gateway Business Analysts Unit at 1.850.201.1171.
